I started making my first implements as a hobby using upcycled leather from Charity shops which sparked an interest from people who wanted to buy them for their unique craftsmanship.

Not too long after I turned my attention to studying the intricacies of stitching leather, working with canes and invested in quality hand tools to create the fore runners of my new, quality crafted items that carry the proud B D stamp on them.

Each item is unique, being individually made, hand stitched, burnished and finished.

I have a few different designs of leather paddles, straps, floggers and canes which are made and customized to your requirements.

The canes I produce are made using, Rattan, Tohiti and Dragon.

Handles are added to straight canes for comfort, accuracy and appearance and are coveted by their owners. So far, these are the only canes with this degree of finish.

Existing customers of these canes who purchased the Dragon canes from my early days, are still proud to be holders of these individualistic canes that stand out from the rest.

Hairbrush shaped and sized chocolate brown shiny Harness leather.

Designed from the old fashioned wooden butter pat shaper.

Glossy chocolate brown harness leather . Fairly rigid, short handled with a nice impact area, to fit one cheek at a time.

Rigid and solid but with a lot of use, will become more flexible

Made using centre core rattan, tightly bundled together and bound inside a beautiful textured suede finished leather grip.

The amount of play at the end of the birch can be controlled by the sliding collar. The further down towards the tips, closes the rattan together for a more solid thump.

Bring it back towards the handle and the spread is greater, giving a more stingy and wider coverage . Your choice!

Overall length 28 inches.

Number of 6mm core canes 24 approx, can vary and according to choice / requirements.

I recommend soaking the lower half of the birch for about 2 hours before use.

Keep the leather handle away from the water as water and suede are not the best buddies.

Unique stainless steel swivel action mounting, helps to prevents the soft looped falls from tangling.

The length of the handle allows the suede falls to have a solid impact but when swung in circular manner allow the falls to impact just from the tips. Big thuds or soft sensual flicks!

Number of falls 18 in loop form. If preferred these can be straight falls , achieved by simply cutting through the loop .

Very heavy and effective. Easy to control and handle. It has a lovely balance and swing to it.

Two outer layers of chocolate brown, slightly textured and with a sheen, Bridle leather. With a thick layer of heavy flexible Buffalo hide sandwiched in between.

Six holes in the blade for aerodynamics and impact with a shaped bolstered handle for a firm grip. All finished with a useful hanging tab.

A more rigid leather strap. Two outer layers of semi glossy, slightly textured Bridle leather. Containing a thick layer of hide to create weight and rigidity.

A slightly domed effect on one side, allowing for a flat surface on the other side. Two slightly different impact effects.
